He has been actively involved in strategizing business development, promoting partnerships, catalyzing foreign investments, international joint ventures and corporatising family businesses.

As an educator, his accomplishments are equally praiseworthy. He is the founder professor of Economics & Management at IIM, Ahmedabad, a visiting faculty at Harvard Business School, Vice Chancellor University of Mumbai and visiting faculty to several leading institutions in India, USA, UK, Europe and other parts of the world.
